Any type, any number

Whether it is one radiator from a bathroom refit or every radiator in a house after a full heating upgrade, we will take them. Cast iron radiators are heavy and awkward on stairs, so mention them specifically when you get in touch.

One of the photographs on this site shows ten panel radiators stacked in a West End back garden after a heating upgrade. That is a typical collection: the engineer leaves them outside, the customer texts us a picture, and we lift them the same or next day depending on where the van is.

Before we collect

Radiators need very little preparation. The main thing is water.

• Drain them as far as possible and stand them upright or on a drip tray; a bit of black sludge is normal.
• Leave valves attached if they are already off the pipe; brass valves are useful scrap.
• If you can, stack them somewhere we can reach without going through the house: a garden, close, drive or garage.
• Cast iron radiators upstairs: tell us the floor and whether the stair is straight or winding.

Cast iron radiators

Reclaimed cast iron radiators in good condition are sometimes wanted by restorers. If you are not in a hurry, you may want to check that first. If you just want them gone, we collect them.
