Scrap collection for trades and contractors
We collect scrap from trade jobs across Glasgow: the boiler, cylinder, radiators and pipe a heating engineer takes out, the cable from a rewire, the steel from a builder's strip-out. Collect from the customer's property or from your yard, one-off or regularly.
A van load of cable from a strip-out · June 2026Why trades use us
Old heating systems and rewire waste take up van space, and running them to a yard eats an hour you could bill. Leaving them at the customer's property for us to lift keeps the job clean and the customer happy. Heating engineers in particular find it easier to text us a photo of the pile before they leave the job than to load it themselves.
How it works on site
Text a photo, the postcode and where the metal has been left: garden, close, drive, back court. Tell us if the customer needs to be there. We collect and confirm when it is done. Boilers, cylinders, radiators, pipework, cable and steel are all collected free.
- Nothing needs stripping or sorting before collection.
- We record what was collected and from where, and can confirm it to you in writing.
- Collection only: we lift from the job or your yard, you never need to transport anything.
Yard collections
If you would rather build up a pile at your own yard or unit and have it lifted every few weeks, we can do that too. Tell us how quickly it accumulates and we will suggest a rhythm.
