Businesses, property managers and tradespeople
Commercial scrap metal collection
Yes, we collect scrap metal from businesses across Glasgow and the surrounding area: shop and office strip-outs, catering ventilation, racking and cages, redundant machinery and mixed metal from units and yards. Collections are fitted around your trading hours.
Aluminium window frames from an office refit, ready to loadWho we work with
Shopfitters and office fit-out contractors clearing ceilings, trunking and partition frames. Pubs and restaurants replacing kitchen extraction. Property managers and letting agents with appliances and radiators from refurbishments. Builders and joiners with site metal. Warehouses with damaged racking and roll cages. Garages and workshops with old equipment. If a business in Glasgow has a pile of metal it needs gone, that is our customer.
We are a local family business with a van, not a national waste contractor. That means one person to speak to, a straight answer on the phone, and no account set-up before we can help.
What commercial metal we collect
Aluminium ceiling grid, diffusers and ducting. Steel and stainless steel catering equipment and extraction. Roll cages, pallet racking and shelving. Trunking and cable from electrical strip-outs. Boilers, cylinders and radiators from plant rooms. Machinery, benches and fabricated steel. Trailer decking, ramps and yard metal. Several of the photographs on this site are commercial jobs: office aluminium near Charing Cross, kitchen ductwork outside a city centre pub, trailer decking in Garscadden and roll cages in Bearsden.
How a commercial collection works
Send a photo of the pile and the postcode. Tell us when the premises are accessible, whether there is a loading bay, yard or rear lane, and whether anything is heavy enough to need two people or a pallet truck. Standard collection is free; if anything needs extra labour or a second vehicle we say so and agree it first. Then we agree a slot that suits your trading hours.
- One-off clearances and repeat collections are both fine.
- We can confirm in writing what was collected and where it went, for your records.
- Collection only: we come to your premises, you never need to transport anything.
City centre premises
Loading restrictions, pedestrian zones and bus lanes shape when a collection can happen in the centre. We will suggest a time that avoids the restrictions on your street rather than leave you to guess.
